Do amber collars really work?

We get this question very often. The fact that amber collars for dogs and cats can protect against ticks and fleas, as well as chemical collars, is not so self-evident. However, with the help of scientific knowledge and our endless love for nature, we can firmly answer that amber collars certainly repel both ticks and fleas.

So how does this work? What is this magic? None whatsoever! Rubbing amber into the pet’s fur creates an almost imperceptible stream of electricity that repels unwanted fleas and ticks. Another important component of amber is its aromatic substances that are unbearable to the unwanted insects. Although the pet itself will not feel these two stimuli, they will repel parasites at the rate of almost 100 percent.

We are happy to confirm these natural facts from the experiences of our beloved customers. More than 70% of our buyers started to see a decrease in unwanted insects after only 1 week. Nature takes care of us all, not only our health but also our beauty. Our customers confirm that amber collars look extremely stylish and go well with the pet’s fur.

How long does this protection last? It is highly dependent on your pet’s activity. More docile animal’s collar can remain effective for a long time. However, if you have an active pet, based on the experience of our customers, the amber collar should be changed every 2 or 3 months. Assessing whether it’s time to change the amber flea and tick repellant is simple: just see how many amber stones remain on the string and when the number drops to half or less – you’ll know it’s time to change the collar.

We are always happy when prospective customers ask us questions, or when existing ones leave us feedback. Contact us and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

With love,
